A recently-published article detailed the new, three-wheeled “driftkarts,” found at BayStation in Tauranga and Velocity Karts in Christchurch. “Drift triking,” the phrase equivalent of “go-karting,” is simple. A small Indiana bowling center chain is closing down one of its locations after some 40 years of business. It will see its final strikes on June 3. Southern Bowl, the only bowling facility in Greenwood, Ind., will close after parent company Royal Pin announced that renovations would be too costly to complete and plans to turn it into a bowling entertainment center weren’t profitable, according to the Daily Journal. With a restaurant-bar opening next week, the owners of Alibi Eatery & Craft Bar plan on soon expanding with a pool hall and arcade, according to the Longview News-Journal. The Longview, Texas, business will open in a former bar and grill location.
