Stratum, believed to be the largest laser tag arena in North America, just upgraded their laser tag equipment to the Helios2 laser tag system by Zone Laser Tag. The Mesa, Ariz.-based entertainment center installed a whopping 110 packs. The Silver Queen Mine Miniature Golf Course, an indoor facility that opened in Monticello, Utah a couple of weeks ago, is unlike traditional mini-golf courses. Located inside of the Monticello Mercantile, it looks like a traditional log cabin on the façade, but inside, it’s blacklit, fluorescent, “magical” mini-golf. According to the San Juan Record, it’s full of mining carts, tunnels, rocks and even a mining office surrounded by glowing hills and log cabin walls. A trampoline park chain based in San Francisco, House of Air, recently opened a San Antonio location, their fifth with more on the way around the world. In addition to Best American Trampolines, the park has a ninja warrior course, a multi-attraction pit with a battle beam and slack line, and an “auto-zip,” an innovative zipline attraction. With the classic arcade continuing its resurgence in recent years, it looks like Sony’s PS4 will try to capitalize on the action later this year as it introduces three games from the Virtual On series to its platform, according to Forbes. In a new interview with Akiko Kubo of Tanita in Famitsu, she talks about the upcoming twinstick controller being made by the company that will be released sometime this November, which Forbes said very likely means the Virtual On games will be released at the same time because that type of controller is needed to play them properly.

The English town of Warrington – halfway between Manchester and Liverpool – just got its own retro arcade bar, the aptly-named Retro Arcade. Among the location’s 52 arcade and pinball machines are Pac-Man, Donkey Kong Jr. and Dig Dug, according to the Warrington Guardian. Alongside those 1980s games are machines from the 1990s and 2000s (plus a couple from the ’70s). Tron is a machine coming soon and games will be swapped out from time to time.
