Innovative Concepts in Entertainment will officially launch two new FEC classics at the Amusement Expo this year – Whack-a-Clown and Tons of Tickets, ICE’s first skill ticket crane. Both games were first featured in November at IAAPA, but are now ready to ship. Whack-a-Clown adds to ICE’s popular carnival series, where players compete against others trying to hit as many clowns as possible while avoiding the red clown. A New York town 60 miles south of Montreal is readying itself for a new arcade pub set to open in mid-April or May. Plattsburgh’s 1UP Arcade & Pub will reside in a 1,500-sq.-ft. space that was formerly home to other food and beverage ventures, according to the Plattsburgh Press-Republican. It will include about 10 games, rotated in and out from their 35-cabinet inventory. A New Jersey comedian pulled off the ultimate ATM prank when he tried to get one on a bus. Denied access, he briefly argues with the driver of the NJ Transit bus, telling him, “I’ll split it with you.” According to press reports, the video is the work of comedian Darius Kinney, who is known as a “sit down” comic. The video, which immediately went viral, garnered more than 100,000 views in just a couple of hours. Many of those who watched the short link debated whether the theft was real or a gag.
