The former arcade bar in Tempe, Ariz. called Endgame recently took a lease on a new location. According to KTAR, the new 22,500-square-foot venue is expected to open by June, occupying a whopping five times the space of their previous location. Launch Trampoline Park, a national chain with 25 locations around the U.S., will set up its 26th location at the Victorian Square Shopping Center in Midlothian, Virginia, says the Richmond Biz Sense. Local franchisees are in the permitting process and hope to occupy a 30,000-square-foot space in the shopping center this spring. In addition to 15,000 square feet of jumping area, the Launch location will feature basketball hoops, dodgeball courts, foam pits, as well as an arcade and cafe. The AAMA unveiled and presented the first annual $5,000 J. Richard Oltmann scholarship to one industry-related college student last year, and is ready and waiting to assist another for 2018. Committee members announced that AAMA has expanded the criteria for the scholarship to include any incoming college freshman sponsored by an AAMA member company, allowing for the pool of potential recipients to expand well beyond what was previously limited to relatives of employees of member companies.
