Party Announcement jpegStern Pinball, Inc. has pulled back the plunger and is ready to send the pinball flying at a celebration of their 30th year in business, Oct. 14, at a limited-access anniversary party to take place at Viper Alley in Lincolnshire, Ill.

The world’s oldest and largest pingame producer is pulling out all the stops for this one-of-a-kind event, which will feature a wide variety of special treats and inspired performances. Ed Robertson, pinball aficionado and lead singer of Barenaked Ladies, will be at the event, along with up and coming Chicago rocker Aly Jaydos and the infamous sword swallower Sally Marvel.

Among the event’s other highlights will be Magic Randy, a world-famous magician, who will roast CEO Gary Stern. Attendees will also have the chance meet Ernie Hudson, one of the original Ghostbusters.

Of course, no Stern event would be complete without the pins that give the company its name and fame. Guests will get the chance to play the machines all night long for free. Exclusive merchandise in celebration of the 30th anniversary will be available for purchase as well.

Tickets are on sale now for $35 a piece at www.sternsepicparty.com. The event’s multiple attractions kick off at 8:00 p.m. at Viper Alley. For those who want it to be even more grand, VIP pre-party tickets are also available, which offer a chance to meet Adam West, who played Batman in the campy 1960s TV series (and is the frequent butt of his own jokes on the animated adult showFamily Guy).

“We are extremely proud to be celebrating 30 years providing unlimited fun to pinball fans around the world,” said Gary. “We sincerely appreciate the loyalty and support of all pinball fans over the years now and in the years to come.”
