A fun center for kids at the Indiana Mall in the city of Indiana, Penn., has closed after owner John Fordyce announced they could no longer stay open. Fordyce said he’s looking for buyers to possibly revamp the Go Bonkerz venue.
“This was never an overly profitable endeavor, and it was never meant to be,” he said in a social media post. “It was meant to be something great for our kids and our community.”
Indiana Gazette reports that the space went unused for a number of months during the Covid-19 pandemic – including two shutdowns during the months of May and June and November and December.
Fordyce noted that he is in talks with possible buyers who can take on the center and “be ready to sail when the waters aren’t so rocky.”
