New Jersey state legislators recently passed a bill that prevents businesses from banning cash purchases by a 72-2 vote in the state Assembly and a 39-0 vote in the state Senate. According to Digital Transactions, once signed by Gov. Phil Murphy, the proposed law would make New Jersey the second state in the country to pass such legislation. Holoverse, which claims to be “the world’s first holographic arcade,” will open its first location in the Middle East mid-month in the Oman Avenues Mall, according to Y Magazine. Created by the Australian company Euclideon Entertainment, Holoverse offers 3D hologram gaming experiences designed to compete with virtual reality.
