Omniverse is a new content management platform unveiled recently by UNIS that is set to augment the player experience for their Omni Arena VR system. The platform allows players to select from more than 12 games, and also gives operators the ability to manage multiple Omni Arena stations from one device. Using Omniverse, the company says an operator can track playtime, remotely load players into the “VR lobby” and more. Those attending the European Attractions Show (EAS) from Sept. 26-28 will get a chance to see Intercard’s new iService app, which allows operators to manage multiple arcade locations from any Android or iOS device. The app allows operators to create a list of games, edit it with information on status, repair needs and more. The Pennsylvania Senate returned from its summer recess today, and proponents of a bill allowing video gaming terminals (VGTs) in bars and a variety of other locations are eagerly awaiting action.
