Mitchell Strikes Back

0

Instant RePlay recently reported that famous video game player Billy Mitchell had his Donkey Kong and Pac-Man high-score records removed from the Twin Galaxies Scoreboard on the belief that he didn’t make them on bona fide coin-op equipment. Billy has since vigorously disagreed and says he will soon show proof that everything was done professionally and according to the Scoreboard’s rules.

“It’s taken a considerable amount of time to gather witnesses, documents, etc. but everything will be made available, nothing withheld,” Billy declared. One big reason Mitchell is fighting to keep his records is because the Guinness Book goes by the Twin Galaxies rankings and should this battle go against him, he’ll be stricken from the next edition.
