Numskull Designs has teamed up with Bandai Namco to offer a quarter-scale Galaga to its “Quarter Arcades,” which already include Dig Dug, Space Invaders, Pac-Man and a few others (available at www.numskull.com).
Set for release in September, according to GameSpew, it joins their Ms. Pac-Man and Galaxian games, which have been announced and also will be released later this year. The cabinets, built for the consumer market, are 1/4 the size of the original. They each have a rechargeable internal battery and are fully playable. The cabinet is available for preorder now at $149.99.
