Holoverse, which claims to be “the world’s first holographic arcade,” will open its first location in the Middle East mid-month in the Oman Avenues Mall, according to Y Magazine. Created by the Australian company Euclideon Entertainment, Holoverse offers 3D hologram gaming experiences designed to compete with virtual reality. Using their technology, lifelike projections are created using lasers, making objects out of light that float in the air around players. To celebrate its popular music and dance video game Pump It Up, Andamiro has created a brand-new software system with new music and graphics for the game’s 20th anniversary. It’s shipping now in the company’s current Pump It Up LX cabinet. Upgrade kits featuring the new software are also available.
