The Mouse Stays In-House: Chuck E. Cheese Merger Collapses

RePlay reported in April on Chuck E. Cheeseā€™s deal with Leo Holdings that would take its parent company CEC Entertainment public. That deal was terminated this week on July 29, according to Restaurant Business. No reasons were given for the change in plans.

The move would have returned CEC to the public markets five years after a $1 billion deal with Apollo Global Management took the company private.
