In recent weeks, Smart Industries began shipping a new product called Magic Coin. The game was well received this spring at the Amusement Expo, said the company’s Jim Dupree, who says it’s “a fantastic fit for street locations as well as FECs.” Magic Coin includes a claw prize system and five auto-release prize doors (numbered 1 thru 5) so operators can feature larger prizes. The game lets players use the “Smart” claw system to grab prize-filled eggs.
If a player grabs an egg containing one of the special RFID “Magic Coins,” he then inserts it into the a slot, and the game automatically releases a corresponding door allowing the player to redeem the larger prize.
