This coming Saturday, Aug. 8, is the extended deadline to file for a Payroll Protection Program loan. CNN says there’s around $130 billion still left in the original stimulus pot for any small businessman who’s eligible for the “free money” but for some reason, hasn’t ever applied for it.
If that’s you, go quickly to your bank and talk to one of those guys or gals at a desk! (This has nothing to do with the new stimulus package now being debated in Congress. Hopefully, there’ll be a second PPP go-round, but different rules could be expected if it appears in the final version.)
