The Netherlands has become the first country to show child abduction AMBER Alerts on ATM screens. The program, which was launched by Dutch ATM deployer In2Retail, will display the alerts on its machines’ screens at 300 strategic locations. These include the Schiphol and Rotterdam airports, shopping malls and tourist attractions. Plans are currently in the works to expand the program to additional ATMs and deployers.
