Organizers for IAAPA’s annual European trade show have announced a record number of attendees in Vienna, Austria, for the event which was held Sept. 25-28. They reported 12,289 verified attendees (out of 13,545 registered) and 8,475 qualified buyers representing 5,614 buying companies.
The association also noted that 633 companies exhibited at the Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center where the Expo was held.
“IAAPA Expo Europe 2023 has exceeded our expectations in every way,” said Jakob Wahl, president and CEO of IAAPA. “The incredible turnout of more than 12,000 attendees and the presence of 633 exhibitors underscore the strong optimism and dynamism of our industry. We are thrilled to see our community come together in person once again to exchange ideas and showcase the future of the attractions industry.”
The 2024 iteration of the show is slated for Sept. 23-26 in Amsterdam.
