Firestone Financial has announced that EVP and COO Michael Cooper, a company vet of nearly 30 years, will step down in May of 2019 with Senior Vice President, Portfolio Risk Management Michael Smith to assume Cooper’s role effective March 1. Cooper will remain on board as “COO, In Residence,” during the transition.

I’ve worked over the years to grow the business and to foster a company culture focused on community service.
