On May 17 at the headquarters of Apple Industries, reps from four branches of the Betson Enterprises distribution network received the first ever Face Place Distributor Certification diplomas. The certification included a daylong series of workshops and seminars provided by Apple Industries designed to make distributors experts on everything about the company’s photo booths. Reps from Betson Enterprises HQ, Betson Advance, Betson Baltimore and Betson Philadelphia attended the program.

“Face Place Photo Booths continually improve as our engineering and marketing teams make frequent, ongoing advances and download them over our network to units on location,” said Apple COO Scott Avery.  “Whether you’re talking about a Face Place Scene Machine or a Photo Studio Deluxe, it’s not the same product from month to month because we keep downloading new features and capabilities to each networked unit on location. In fact, sometimes a Face Place unit can change dramatically from week to week or even over the course of a few days.” On May 17 at the headquarters of Apple Industries, reps from four branches of the Betson Enterprises distribution network received the first ever Face Place Distributor Certification diplomas. This constant evolution was behind the company’s reasoning to develop the Distributor Certification Program, as well as a hope that the further education would help distributors and operators alike maximize incomes across the Face Place network. The program covered details concerning the Smile 2.0 operating system, graphics updates, software capabilities, photo quality, and the company’s new Product Fulfillment Program.

Apple’s Marketing Coordinator Joe DiGirolamo provided an introduction to their website as well, which is now packed with technical and marketing info that distributors can utilize to assist operators. Kris Link, VP of Sales – Distribution and FECs, also led a lively round table discussion that covered prospecting locations, qualities of a good photo booth location and issues of special concern to operators.

Apple Industries stated that the success of this first “class” of Apple-certified distributors will quickly be replicated all spring and summer, and they hope that leading distributors from around the nation will participate in future programs. For more information, visit www.faceplacephoto.com.
