Calgary’s Nightwave Arcade, formerly VR Core, has expanded beyond virtual reality and now offers a wider variety of gaming experiences, reports Daily Hive. VR is still there, but now the arcade offers pinball machines, classic arcades and a snack bar. Jan. 15-17 are the dates set for ATRAX, the attractions trade show located in Istanbul that draws attendees from across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The new F1 Arcade, with its high-octane race simulators, opened Oct. 17 in Las Vegas, reported Couch Soup. Along with the racing simulators and arcade, there’s also a full bar, extensive food menu and a live DJ on most days. The location also has a terrace that looks out onto Caesar’s Palace and the Las Vegas Strip. Of course, guests can also expect a strong F1 theme and race parties. Montgomery, Alabama’s oldest bowling alley – Bama Lanes – recently recognized its 65th anniversary. Arcade chain Adores will close its Sunshine location in Tokyo, Japan’s Ikebukuro Station neighborhood this January after 40 some years of operation.
