FEG Welcomes Two New Regional Directors

George Smith’s Family Entertainment Group (FEG) (operators of FECs and other amusement facilities) has added two seasoned industry professionals to its team: Greg Kunde and Robin Kerr.

FEG’s Greg Kunde

Greg will be managing and supporting FEG locations in the western region. He joins the company with a long history of industry experience dating back to 1987 in New England when he began working with AMF Bowling Centers. He moved to Reno in 1995 to become director of amusements for Reno Hilton Resort, now Grand Sierra Resort.

In 2002, he was hired as GM by Wild Island/Wild Waters and was tasked to design and open their new, year round facility from the ground up, Wild Island Coconut Bowl. His other projects include Arcade Xtreme, which was part of a $400 million expansion inside Peppermill Resort and Spa.

FEG’s Robin Kerr

Joining FEG as Regional Director of Operations, Robin Kerr will be managing and supporting the company’s locations in the mid-Atlantic region. After spending 10 years in the bar and restaurant business in Aspen, Colo., Robin accepted his first position in the FEC industry in 1991 when he became GM Celebration Station’s new location in Austin, Texas. He worked the next 14 years as GM and regional manager, living in Texas, Indiana and North Carolina.

In 2005, Robin was hired by Putt-Putt as director of operations, responsible for franchise support, game and attraction purchasing, budgets, new construction and remodels. Robin and his wife Becky will be relocating to the Poconos.
