Betson Closes, Shares Revenue Ideas for Uncertain Times

0
By Matt Harding on March 23, 2020 INSTANT REPLAY

Betson Enterprises sent out its own temporary closure notice recently; as of today, March 23, all of their offices will be closed for at least two weeks. “This closure will include temporarily discontinuing shipments of all parts and equipment leaving or coming into any of our facilities from March 23-April 3,” they said.

Their front office, accounts receivable, sales and technical staff remains available as usual via phone and email to handle any questions. Their parts sales reps will also be available to process factory drop ship parts (subject to factory availability). “We appreciate your patience and assistance in helping our community work through this trying time,” they added. “We will get through this together.”

Speaking of getting through it, Betson’s Tony Orozco sent us an email about a revenue idea some of their customers are doing – renting out machines by the month to homes. Response was overwhelming, he shared. As people are looking for something to do in their homes, the amusement industry is uniquely suited to offer up some games that will have people running back into arcades as soon as they are able. A nice, light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel vision, to be sure!
