Continuing a recent trend of growth, American Vending Sales completed the purchase of Texas-based distributor H.A. Franz & Co. on Nov. 1. The merger adds offices in Houston and Dallas to AVS’ current locations in Milwaukee, Minneapolis and their headquarters in Chicago.
“As the amusement and vending industries become more consolidated and competitive, we thought it was time to make a move,” said Joe Franz, President of H.A. Franz. “We have a great deal of respect and trust in the people at AVS and fully expect our customers to thrive working with them.”

All current H.A. Franz employees are transitioning to work under AVS’ banner, in order for the two companies to ensure the smoothest transition possible. Joe Franz will remain on to oversee the Texas branches and customers are encouraged to continue contacting their existing sales, parts and service reps in each office.
