A former Gander Mountain sporting goods store in Sugar Land, Texas, will soon be home to Ace Pickleball Club and Dave & Buster’s, both of which have signed leases on the building. According to KHOU, the pickleball biz will take up 33,740 sq. ft. while Dave & Buster’s will take up the remaining 30,613 sq. ft. It’s going to be the fourth Houston-area D&B. Borges previously worked as a sales representative for Player One Amusement Group and Betson Enterprises. “His transition from a distributor sales rep to a manufacturer sales rep is an easy one, since he’s already familiar with Coastal’s product line,” said the company’s president of sales, marketing and product innovation, Mike Dean. “Ray will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key distributors, as well as driving sales initiatives and expanding our market presence.”

To celebrate Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary, Hot 97 reports that Bandai Namco and Krispy Kreme have teamed up to produce limited-edition donuts available in select U.S. shops from May 12-June 1. The lineup includes Pac-Man Party, Team Ghost and Strawberry Power Berry donuts, priced at $2.69 each or $19.99 for a dozen. Last week, Krispy Kreme’s Doughnut Dots were renamed Pac-Dots and 10 were offered for free with each dozen donuts purchased. Following their recent annual meeting, held May 9 at Operators Distributing in Archdale, the North Carolina Coin Operators Assn. has a new president – Tammy Snodgrass. She takes over for Jeff Douglas, who’s led the association for the past three years and was on the board for six years. “It’s been an honor and a pleasure to lead the organization, and I couldn’t have done it without the help of our board members,” Douglas said.
