A new movie entertainment center chain, Film Alley, has moved into the former Breckenridge Regal Theater in Little Rock, Arkansas, reported KTHV. Film Alley is owned by the Texas-based Schulman Theatres company, which also operates the City Lights brand. There are eight screening rooms, eight duckpin bowling lanes, an arcade with redemption, and a restaurant-bar. “In terms of experience, you won’t find it anywhere else,” touted the location’s general manager, Denard Stewart. The first Netflix House attraction has opened in Philadelphia at the King of Prussia shopping mall, Blooloop reported. The 100,000-sq.-ft. venue is home to immersive experiences inspired by Netflix’s most popular TV shows and movies. Among them are Wednesday, One Piece, Stranger Things, Squid Game, Love Is Blind, KPop Demon Hunters, Bridgerton, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and more. Intercard recently installed their cashless technology at The Bonus Round, a family-run arcade that opened in Decatur, Indiana. It features more than 30 games with a mix of virtual reality, classic video games, cranes and more. All the games are connected by an Intercard cashless system, including a self-service kiosk. The company’s Austin Lacy completed the installation. A coveted first-place IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Product in the Games and Devices category went to Coastal Amusements for Hot Wheels Ultimate Speedway at the Orlando show this week. Semnox Solutions recently completed one of its largest East Coast installations with Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The company deployed a comprehensive suite of kiosks, readers and card conversion software across the amusement pier and waterpark. Semnox installed 30 XcessOS readers and nine Klimate Outdoor Kiosks as part of a multi-phase rollout that also included an arcade conversion, indoor kiosk installations and more.
