Six Santikos Entertainment arcades in San Antonio recently upgraded with Intercard’s debit card system, according to a recent press release. The movie theater chain has been expanding into the FEC business with arcades and other attractions, and is currently building a large-scale entertainment center in Cibolo, Texas, at an estimated cost of $56 million.

“I’m glad we made the choice to switch over,” said Dan Fonseca, Santikos gaming manager, citing that the system and it’s reporting are “great.”

Installed were more than 200 iReader Eclipse readers, as well as iTeller automated kiosks that interface with the company’s existing Vista Movie Theater POS system
