Sega’s U.S. Team Visits London With RePlay in Tow

Last week, Sega Amusements International U.S. sales team members Vince Moreno, Marty Smith and Carlos Laguardia visited the company’s head office in London. The visit was timed to coincide with Sega Amusements’ annual review meeting and employee awards ceremony. The U.S. team attended planning meetings, reviewed current and future product, visited local U.K. operations and visited the R&D office and factory, which was busy producing Daytona Championship USA, Sega’s reboot of its classic arcade driver that was featured on RePlay’s May cover.

Vince Moreno had another reason to enjoy the trip to the U.K.: He was honored as Employee of the Year. “I am very happy to have won this award. There were other great nominees who had also performed just as well this year,” he said. “My thanks to all who helped me achieve this award and, most importantly, our customers.”

“The visit was very productive,” Vince added, “and we got to meet the expanding team at the head office and R&D, as well as learn about the strong line-up of games coming the next two years. Despite the busy schedule, I am pleased to say we did get a chance to squeeze in a quick visit to the local heritage site, Hampton Court Palace.”

Sega has an eclectic line of products this year with Daytona Championship USA, Target Bravo, Let’s Go Island Dream Edition and a range of redemption games. For more information, contact Sega at 847-364-9787 or +44 (0) 208-391-8090 or email at sales@segaarcade.com.
