International Show News: Enada, Sagse and IAAPA’s EAS

0
By Casey Minter on March 21, 2016 INSTANT REPLAY

Southern Europe’s leading international trade show, Enada Spring 2016, ran concurrently with our own Amusement Expo International, beginning on March 16 and ending March 18 in Rimini, Italy. Over 25,000 visitors came to the show, demonstrating what organizers say is an increasing popularity in the industry.

Enada featured a host of new products, including the newly arrived and eagerly awaited Moto GP driver by Raw Thrills (the Moto GP franchise enjoys more popularity in Europe than the States). ICE brought several ticket redemption games, including their Angry Birds game and Ghostbusters.

Coming Soon: Central America Show

Coming up next is the 12th annual SAGSE Central American and Caribbean trade show, which will run from May 4-5 in Panama City. The show will feature 70 participating companies and an expected 1,200 attendees. 50 percent of attendees come from around the world, the other half from Panama.

On To Barcelona!

Finally, details are coming together for the 2016 IAAPA Euro Attractions Show (EAS) which will be held in Barcelona for the first time in Barcelona. The three-day event – scheduled for Sept. 20-22 — will feature a trade show floor filled with the latest products and services, plus over 20 hours of educational events. EAS is expected to bring in more than 9,000 industry professionals from over 100 countries. It is an important meeting point for the European leisure and attractions industry, with 425 companies displaying wares and buyers galore.

“Taking EAS to Barcelona will provide value to all attendees regardless of their background in the leisure and attractions industry. The leisure-heavy Costa Daurada is in the dynamic business center of Catalonia which makes it an ideal location for EAS,” said Karen Staley, Senior VP of IAAPA EMEA.
