Betson Hosts Grand Opening Celebration in Nevada

Betson President Bob Geschine and VP of Sales and Marketing Jonathan Betti cut the ribbon at the new Henderson, Nevada, facility while that city’s chamber of commerce topper Scott Muelrath looks on. “It’s a kind of return to this market,” said Geschine, noting that they had an office there in the 1990s. A confluence of factors including Betson’s and the industry’s growth, as well as their involvement in gaming and with Goldfinger monitors, led them to feel it was time to return to Southern Nevada. “When we looked at the area, Henderson was where we needed to be. It’s a growing place and a great community … We plan on leveraging this building to our success and we’re excited to be here.”

Betson Enterprises hosted a grand opening at its new Henderson, Nevada, facility on March 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. With a whopping 75,000 sq. ft. of space, it will serve as a multi-purpose distribution center to support customers on the west coast.

In a word, the facility is “incredible.” A tour during the event found a vast inventory of new equipment, parts and service support. On one end of the facility, Betson has offices and on the other, Goldfinger has theirs (Betson is a “master distributor” of that company’s line of monitors). In between, there’s a bustling repair center, massive parts inventory, new equipment and more, along with room to grow and bays for 12 semi-trucks at a time.

About the move, Betson execs said that during its almost 90-year history, “When we’ve seen an opportunity, we have been nimble enough to enter new markets or expand a current one. Our process has always focused on the best way to support our business growth, partners and customers. After a comprehensive examination of our current systems and distribution model, we have determined that we can more effectively support our existing customer base and prepare for future growth by implementing a new operations strategy.”

Starting May 31, as part of its new distribution play, Betson will consolidate sales and distribution operations by closing its Santa Fe Springs, Calif., office. The company will have a small depot in California where it can store equipment and trucks to be used in conjunction with its Las Vegas office to serve customers in the region.

“Our California customers will now be supported through our Las Vegas office,” the company explained. “The transition will be seamless for vendors and customers as we support our local and national partners with equipment, parts inventory and service,” the company said.
