Shaffer Distributing announced a recent change-up in its leadership team with three promotions for recognizable industry names: Bill Kraft, Scott Shaffer and George Speakman.
Bill Kraft, Shaffer’s long-time President, was elevated to the role of Vice Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors, and will assist in the oversight of both Shaffer Distributing and Shaffer Entertainment. Said the company in its news announcement, “Bill has made immeasurable contributions to the Shaffer organization over his many years of service and will continue to have an impact from his new seat on the Board.”
Scott Shaffer (below) is taking on Kraft’s role of President after spending years managing the overall enterprise as VP of Sales. The company praised him for his many years of leadership and passion for the organization.
Finally, George Speakman (right) will take Shaffer’s former VP position. Speakman joined Shaffer several years ago and has worked to manage the company’s FEC biz. He will continue with his FEC responsibilities as well as take on the role of working directly with members of Shaffer’s sales team.
The company said, “George has earned a stellar reputation for his hard work and expertise, not only within the company but also nationally with FEC customers, prospects and industry partners. He has worked diligently in cultivating a number of important relationships across the country through his own personal drive and initiative.”
