The Minnesota Operators of Music and Amusements has announced the recipients of their annual $1,000 scholarships: Joe McDonald (Vermillion Community College); Amanda Preisinger (Winona State University); Gwen Jutz (Mankato State University); Casie Allred (University of Wisconsin River Falls); Mitch Lorentz (Mankato State University); and Elizabeth Carlson (University of Wisonsin Superior).
Since 1991, MOMA has raised more than $100,000 in scholarship funds that have been awarded to more than 100 deserving college-bound students. The money goes to children of those in the industry or league participants who are seeking a college education. The money is used for books, tuition and room and board.
