Joe Zumsteg, a veteran salesman for Rhode Island Novelty and Classic Toy, has passed. The New Jersey Amusement Assoc., in sharing the news yesterday (4/23), said he will be remembered by many friends, customers and associates for his passion and commitment to the carnival and amusement industry.
Zumsteg passed away at his home in suburban Western Springs, Ill., on the morning of April 19. He had been fighting brain cancer for some time. Additionally, NJAA announced that there will be no bereavement services, fitting with the humble nature of Zumsteg.
