First Look at GT 2026!

The Golden Tee PGA TOUR 2026 software update is shaping up to be the “most robust and exciting” release in the 40-year history of Incredible Technologies, the company said in a press release announcing the new features (the launch is Sept. 29).

“As we proudly celebrate 40 years of innovation, this milestone update blends the nostalgia of competition and camaraderie with bold new ideas that continue to push Golden Tee forward,” they said. “With all-new courses, fresh game modes and meaningful in-game and postgame enhancements, this is more than just an update – it’s an opportunity to re-energize your player base and increase the earnings in your cashbox.”

Leagues
New league software is just one of the features coming later this month to Golden Tee golf in the 2026 update. The GT 2026 software allows operators and players to create and manage their own leagues.

Full details on each of the additions is coming soon, but here’s a bit of what operators and players can expect:

RUN IT League Software – The launch of IT’s custom league software RUN IT has been multiple years in the making. The company says it will allow both operators and players to create and manage their own leagues, using a plethora of customization options. “It’s the deepest, most ambitious feature Golden Tee has ever produced.

Reimagined Skins Mode – The new Golden Tee 2026 update will have a new scoring system that gradually increases as the round progresses and stakes get higher. Skins mode will also now be online, so players can compete using their unique golfer and equipment of choice.

New In-Game Shot Types – Flop and punch shots have been added to allow players the ability to “navigate sticky course situations like never before to save their scorecards.”

Postgame Highlights – Incredible Technologies brought players Shots of the Week… now they’ve added the new Shots of the Game, which will give a customized countdown highlighting the top five moments in each individual 18-hole experience. “After each game, just sit back, relax and see who took home the ultimate bragging rights.”

New Local and Worldwide Leaderboards – Each course now has Casual, Online and Global Monthly Leaderboards that can be accessed at the course selection screen. The leaderboards will highlight the best players in the world – and the best on that particular cabinet – in a variety of categories.

Daily Contest Mania – The Daily Contest, one of the longest active features in Golden Tee, has received a facelift. The company said it will now be home to massive course customization options. “From gusty winds to easier (or harder) tee boxes, this 24-hour staple will now receive regular custom modifications that increase (or decrease) the difficulty of its many course stops,” they explained.

Five New Original Courses – From a cornfield in Decorah, Iowa, to the bottom of a canyon in Gunnison, Colorado, to the spectacular ancient ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru, IT noted that the 2026 course offerings are the “most original, diverse destinations the game has seen in some time.”Golden Tee 2026

One New “Remastered” Course – The King’s Canyon course has been brought back by popular demand and was rebuilt from the ground-up.

One New PGA TOUR Course – TPC Twin Cities, host of the PGA TOUR’s 3M Open, will make its debut in the new Golden Tee with its “abundance of water and homes lining the fairways.” The makers added: “With a litany of short par-4s and plenty of hazards to navigate, this incredibly popular destination will be a perfect fit in the trackball world.”

Three New Re-Teed Courses – Desert Valley, Celtic Shores and Elkhorn Ridge have all been renovated with new tee boxes and pins to give entirely new experiences to users who’ve played them time and time again.

Three New High- Performance Club Sets – Players will now have three new custom golf club sets to pick from, including the popular Golden Tee World Championship set, created by the latest champion Clint Grover.

Three New Golf Balls – New custom golf balls are also on the updated menu, giving players more tools to conquer the new courses. “Put an emphasis on certain club types or try the new, high-powered Comet ball to see a sizable distance increase on bigger cut shots.”

Three New Seasons of Content – From unlockable clothing items to equipment and more, three new seasons of content will be available.

Three New TOUR Seasons – The robust new feature that debuted this past year is back with three fresh seasons, which will provide players with “weekly and seasonal incentives to compete for glory and prizes.”

Freaky Friday Courses – There will be 10 new casual “Freaky Friday” courses launched throughout 2026 for players to enjoy.

…And Much More! From a new and refreshed Classic Course of the Week to new banner milestones for players to showcase their most meaningful trackball achievements, the Golden Tee PGA TOUR 2026 software update seems to have something for everybody.
