Creative Works and Kevin Williams from KWP Limited have announced that they will be working together on a brand new, mixed reality attraction. The partners emphasize that the attraction, “won’t be virtual reality and it won’t be real life.” KWP and Creative Works hope to create a new attraction that will bridge the gap between full-on VR (which completely dominates your vision and attention with a headset that covers your eyes) and reality.
The new system is meant to promote an inclusive, social experience while maintaining real human connections within a new kind of digital experience.
“Too many vendors in our industry fear the advancements with in-home entertainment and technology,” commented Armando Lanuti, an owner of Creative Works. “Rather than fear it, we want to understand it so we can take the successful elements and, with the support of KWP, craft a truly unique digital game experience that will define the sector’s future.”
Details about the project and its scope will be released soon, according to the partners.
