Coastal Reveals Update Of Atari Classic: BREAKOUT

0
By Casey Minter on September 21, 2016 INSTANT REPLAY

Coastal Amusements has announced the release of a new iteration of the classic arcade game BREAKOUT. The company will excitedly debut the game at this year’s IAAPA. BREAKOUT will be the latest in a line of game offerings for Coastal’s 65″ video game system (VGS), and the company has added a host of new features to bring the classic into the 21st century.

The iconic game is updated in a new ticket redemption format, which will challenge players to break as many bricks as possible while keeping the ball from draining. Features will include special bricks to give players a multi-ball mode, instant tickets for certain actions and all sorts of good and bad power-ups to keep the game interesting and challenge every player. The “Catch a Falling Star” feature allows players the chance to win a big bonus for even more tickets.

Other Coastal games on the 65″ VGS format include Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Frog Around and The Balloon Game. The company says all games in the system are easily converted with a simple software and graphics change.

BREAKOUT will be at Coastal’s booth (#1324) at this year’s IAAPA show, so don’t miss the chance to check it out!
