The prominent pinball pro Doug Skor has found a new home at Stern Pinball, the company announcing today (May 29) that Skor will take up the job of Director of Export Sales. Reporting to Chief Revenue Officer John Buscaglia, he will work alongside CEO Gary Stern to service and grow export markets.

Skor comes to Stern with a long background of pin experience, including his most recent gig as VP of Chicago Gaming Company. Previously he’s served as VP of the Skor family-owned distributor World Wide Distributing, President of Deutsche Wurlitzer USA and VP of EDC Gaming. With a combined 35-year history in commercial and consumer distribution, manufacturing and operations, Doug brings a vast amount of experience to his new position.

“I have known Doug for decades, both through our families’ friendship and his game business activities. He is well known and experienced in the amusement game industry, both domestically and abroad,” said Gary Stern, who assured the trade: “I am not retiring. With Stern’s growth, I can’t be day-to-day responsive as the export salesman and perform my CEO duties.”

“I’m very excited to be joining Stern Pinball and using my skills and experience to help our distribution partners expand their markets,” Skor said. “I have a long history of selling Stern Pinball products. I worked in the industry when Gary started the company.” For more information on Stern, click here.
