AAMA Hires Alex Ritschdorff

By Casey Minter on June 8, 2018 INSTANT REPLAY

A new marketing and administrative assistant, Alex Ritschdorff, has joined AAMA. The recent University of Missouri business and administration grad has four years of marketing experience for nonprofits, as well as six years of extensive graphic design know-how.

“Alex comes to us with a background in helping non-profits succeed, a fresh set of ideas and a positive work ethic,” said AAMA’s Tina Schwartz. “Her marketing and design skills will be an asset to our team. In a short time, she has become a great addition to our AAMA family.”

Ritschdorff has been able to increase awareness and funds for each organization she has been a part of, said AAMA. Mizzou for Malawi gave her the role of producing all promotional materials for its events and running its social media platforms. She helped raise over $5,000 for a school in Salima, Malawi, through an event with the former star from The Bachelor, Ben Higgins. Columbia Access Television (CAT-TV) gave her the responsibility of running its month-long charity event and annual trivia night that helped CAT-TV continue offering its various services to the community.

“We are excited to welcome Alex to the team! We have some great plans for the future and Alex will be instrumental in helping us achieve those goals,” said AAMA EVP Pete Gustafson.

Ritschdorff will continue AAMA’s mission to promote the coin-op industry and serve as an information source to members of the association through a members-only Facebook group and the monthly newsletter, Loose Change. She comes from a family of industry members and said she never thought she’d be able to join the legacy straight out of college. Look for her at the next industry event!
