EAG International – Trade Readies for London Expo

Sega Puts on a Show at EAG
Along with many others in the industry, folks from Sega Amusements International are headed to London Jan. 16-18 for the annual EAG International Expo. The company hopes to build off what they call a “superb” IAAPA Expo, and is confident that EAG will kick off what’s a spectacular 2018.

Sega plans to showcase Hoopla, the company’s latest carnival-themed redemption game developed with ICE, on top of many other pieces of their own and those they rep in Europe. In the ticket category, Sega will show Wheel of Fortune, Pirate Falls, Zombie Snatcher, Maze Escape and others.

With a new focus on basketball, Sega is getting back with large and small hoop games: NBA Hoops, NBA Game Time, NBA Hoops Troops and their own exclusive, Sonic Basketball.  Sega will also show off changes to its Daytona USA racer, including new overhead multi-color lighting and a free, gameplay-enhancing software update.

Along with its machines, Sega Prize International will showcase the firm’s wide range of items to suit operators’ needs. For more information, check them out at booth #534.

Speaking of Sega…
One of Smart Industries’ pieces, the Ticket Time RFID (61″ double model), will be shown at the Sega booth. Over at the UDC Distributing booth, EAG attendees can find Smart’s show-stopping Giant Taj Mahal Rings crane.

Sacoa Showcase
Sacoa is heading to EAG with some new updates to its line of player card systems. Sacoa plans to exhibit a new software version for the company’s card kiosks, which features a renovated user interface and can sell several cards in one transaction. The kiosk also offers upsell potential for each product and has an optimized card dispenser to reduce stress on the part.

Another product Sacoa will highlight at EAG 2018 is the Flexi-Reader, an updated version of the company’s three-in-one Color Shot HDT RF card reader. The Flexi-Reader offers three ways for customers to interact with their mag stripe or RFID cards: swipe, tap or insert.
For more information on Sacoa, visit them at booth #540.

DC Lights Up EAG
The Digital Centre team reports that they are excited to bring their LED technology and bright, eye-catching photo booths back to London for this year’s EAG show. The firm has big plans for 2018, with its first-of-its-kind redemption photo booth The Grand Palace making waves at IAAPA.

Also headed to London are DC’s Panther Revolution line of photo booths and its Eclipse photo booth. The Panther Revolution line is the firm’s best-selling booths, allowing users to show off their pics in style on the machine’s LED video wall. This external video wall blows up their images to super-star size and lets anyone around know how much fun guests are having.

The Eclipse is DC’s first photo booth with a curved, 12 foot LED video wall, making the machine absolutely unmissable. For more information on DC, visit them at EAG booth’s #516 or #510.
