Stern Ghostbusters ProFor all who immediately start humming the catchy tune that goes with that famous catchphrase, Stern Pinball has a pleasant surprise: its Ghostbusters pinball! The company has announced the availability of this, its latest machine, which was inspired by the original 1984 film.

The pin, available in three models –– Pro, Premium and Limited Edition –– asks players to take up the task of catching mischievous ghosts through a playfield full of humorous, adventure-filled challenges.

The factory says the game is easy to play, but difficult to master. A moving Slimer toy target and a distinctive layout keep every game fresh. Multi-function, two-way ramps use a magnetic diverter and scoring switches to integrate a unique experience into the traditional playfield. Combative open field drop targets, a ball eject target, a captive ball target, a host of custom molded toys and beautiful hand drawn art by Jeremy Packer make all versions of the machine stand out as a must play according to Stern.Stern Ghostbusters LE

The Premium and LE models also feature an interactive ghost hologram target with animations, “paranormal” magnetic action slingshots, distinctive ramp architecture and even more toys. Game action in all models conveys the humor of the film with custom speech by Ernie Hudson, the actor who played the fourth Ghostbuster, Winston Zeddemore.

“The Ghostbusters pinball machine celebrates the much-loved original movie produced by Columbia Pictures and gives fans a fun, entertaining, high-energy pinball experience,” said Stern topper Gary Stern. “After all, it’s the Ghostbusters!”

The game is now available through authorized Stern distributors around the world. For more information, visit  www.sternpinball.com.
