Triotech Installed Huge XD Dark Ride in N.Z.

The largest XD Dark Ride in the Southern Hemisphere has been launched by manufacturer Triotech at Rainbow’s End Theme Park in Auckland, New Zealand. It opened July 3.

“The Spectra XD Dark Ride is the biggest, immersive 7D theatre experience in the Southern Hemisphere,” Triotech said. “The custom 28-seater ride mixes the thrill of an amusement park ride with movies and gaming. It’s a modern twist on the 3D experience and sure to entertain everyone in the family.”

It replaces the former 3D Motion Master ride at Rainbow’s End. Initially planned to open back in April, the project was stalled as Triotech had to stop production due to the Canadian COVID lockdown. Learn more at www.trio-tech.com and www.rainbowsend.co.nz.
