Pelican Adds Five More Chains

During the first quarter of 2017, the Pelican Group has been super busy, signing exclusive operating agreements with Cheeseburger in Paradise, Perkins, Tilted Kilt, the Blackhawk Network and Dollar Express. The supra-operation, headquartered in California’s Bay Area, now manages the games and vending machine operations at over 70 national chains!

Said company owner and CEO Richard Scherer: “It’s safe to say we’re thrilled to partner up with such great companies. They offer us and our local operators the chance to grow in new ways.” Scherer revealed that Pelican plans to continue its aggressive growth pace through acquisitions, new business sales, and expansion within existing customers throughout 2017. “It’s going to be a very busy year,” Scherer added.

The Pelican Group was founded back in 1993 and currently maintains working relationships with a network of more than 600 regional operators who handle the day-to-day on-site work at the national accounts. Financial management, equipment selection and purchasing, etc. is managed from Pelican headquarters in Danville, Calif.
