Pinball Fans Ready to Rejoice in Ohio

Screen Shot 2016-03-28 at 2.02.23 PMThe annual Ohio Pinball Show will run March 31 to April 2 at Emidio’s & Sons Expo Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Organizers say the show promises to bring in the latest and greatest pinball games in the world, and will include a diverse lineup from the burgeoning market of pinball manufacturers. Stern, will be there with its latest game, Ghostbusters, as well as Jersey Jack with its The Hobbit. Smaller manufacturers will be there as well, including Dutch Pinball with its licensed Big Lebowski table and Heighway Pinball with its Full Throttle game.

IMG_9602Daily admission to the event is $20 (a three-day pass costs $45 or $10 for kids under 15 years old), giving attendees access to several rare tables that will also complement these new games, including Joust, Varkon, Cirquis Voltaire and Hercules. Attendees are even encouraged to bring in and set up their own pinball machines for sale or free play, with event organizers offering free admission to those that do.

Finally, there will be a tournament and auction during the three-day event. The auction will be held on April 2, and will include a host of pins and arcade games available for sale to show attendees. The Ohio Wizard Tournament Pinmaster will be decided throughout the course of the event, with qualifying rounds being held until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. This IFPA-certified tournament will then conclude and winners will be chosen and awarded over $1,500 in cash and prizes.
